The Swine Flu pandemic in 2009 is a newly found strain of H1N1 flu virus that was initially found in March of this year. Outbreaks were detected in a few areas of Mexico, but this newer strain was not clinically discovered for around a month. Following it being found here in the United States (Texas and California), it was confirmed that it was the same strain found in Mexico. Within days cases in other places in the Northern Hemisphere were also popping up. By April 27th, this new strain had reared it's ugly head in confirmed cases located in Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom, and is suspected to be in many other nations, including New Zealand. So far there have been over 2,400 possible cases, which has prompted the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise their pandemic alert level to 4!

its becoming uncontrollable now. Not only are scientists wasting their time on a swine flu vaccine, what are we going to do for the regular flu this year? So far, more people have died from the regular flu than the swine flu. The swine flu vaccine and the regular flu vaccine are two different vaccines! |

people need to calm down there was the turkey flu pandemic in the 70's, the swine flu the first time in the 50's and 27 other pandemics no one cared about because they went away and just pooped out, and now our health care system is better then it was in 1908 when people were getting rolled over by the pandemic flu and even regular flu, and yes almost 2,000 people have died from the swine flu, but 58,000 a year die from the regular flu |

All i have to say is would people please stop saying "God help us" There is no God and if there was then he alone created the swine flu in the 1st place. As all things are created under God right. Get real people. Grow up and realize the only one that can help yourself is you. Keep your kids out of school if you are so worried about it. Don't send them into the heart of the problem. And take charge of what you alone are capible to control. You can't help those who wont help themselfs. |
